Raju - Akshay Kumar - is Baburao's other paying guest who disapproves of Shyam right from the start. Shyam decides to fight for his job and starts residing as a paying guest with Baburao Apte - Paresh Rawal, a garage owner. But there is another applicant for the same job - Anuradha Panikkar - Tabu. Shyam - Sunil Shetty - comes to Mumbai to apply for a job. Hera Pheri is a hilarious comedy where three innocent dreamers stumble upon a chance to earn lots of money but the wrong way. Where does destiny lead her? Who will she ultimately go to to the Prem who won her over or the Prem who was meant to be with her? But suddenly, comes along another Prem (Abhishek Bachchan) who walks into her life as though he was meant to. However, he manages to charm his way into the hearts of her mother, father and even her dog! As she gets to know him better, she falls hopelessly in love with him a love so deep that it will last till the end of time. Prem enters Sanjanas life but she does not like him one bit! His habits and hobbies are diametrically opposite to hers. Sanjana is taken aback by the extreme measures that her mother undertakes to ensure that Prem (Hrithik Roshan), who comes and stays with them for a month, likes her daughter. Her mother is very keen to get her married to a rich, eligible bachelor, Prem. Sanjana is a young, vibrant girl who has just finished her college.
They are happy to narrate the so-called white fairy tales but are afraid to stumble upon the unwanted and black truths and the difficult choices they made to reach their destinations never comes to the surface.Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, a triangular love story where each character rises above all odds to let love triumph at the end. It is their souls that awakens them and makes them see what has happened to them and how following dreams madly has left them completely changed and troubled. In their wish to achieve success faster, most take short cuts or adopt unscrupulous means. ‘Yaariyan’ builds on this guilt conscious Indian born righteous man, even though quite late but realizes what all he has left behind in the mad rush.
Everyman who has made a fortune in the West would vouch for the fact that at some point or the other they have left the companionship of hardwork and honesty. The journey may look romantic from the cover but can be as tricky and beguiling as possible. What makes this movie sellable is the fact that the movie lets the lonely man who has gone to the West in search of his dreams relate to the protagonist. He travels far to fulfill his dreams and what happens in his journey makes it even worthwhile. Gurdas Mann plays Jassa Singh an essential Indian born and bred man, who seeks to fulfill his dreams.

Yaariyan’ is the story of any man who leaves his country, family and kin to search for success and fulfilling dreams. If you take a look at the UK box office, you would definitely find the previous years major successes were all Punjabi movies. A major chunk of the NRIs worldwide are essentially Punjabis and this movie’s worldwide release wanted to impress this specific breed.
Being a musical drama ‘Yaariyan’ definitely owes its success to its rocking Punjabi music. Now, you cannot deny the fact that Punjabi songs sell no matter where you release them.
